Day 01 :
Arrival Day and Trek Briefing in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,265ft.)

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, a member of our team will warmly welcome you and provide private transportation to your hotel or accommodation. You can either rest or explore around for the rest of the day.
At the end of the day, we’ll have a small meeting with the trek leaders and crews so that you don’t miss any sort of information.
Also our team will review your gears and ensure you have everything if not you can purchase or rent on the following day.

Day 02 :
Full day Kathmandu City Tour

On the second day of our journey, you’ll spend your day roaming around some of the popular destinations of Kathmandu valley such as Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square, and the streets of Thamel. You can also do a last-minute shopping for trek before we leave. We also suggest you to have enough rest as we will begin our official journey from tomorrow.

Day 03 :
Drive from Kathmandu to Jagat

We will officially begin our journey on the third day as we drive from Kathmandu to Jatag along the Trishuli River and Marshyangdi rivers, where the Annapurna trek officially begins. Once we reach Jagat, we will be able to witness the mani walls, small chortens, and Buddhist prayer flags, as people from Tamang and Gurung communities live there. We will spend the first night of our journey in Jagat.

Day 04 :
Trek to Dharepani (1,860m/6,102ft). Distance: 12–13 km, Duration: 5–6 hrs

We will begin the day four with a delicious breakfast in Jagat and finally start our journey to Dharepani. We will trek along the Marshyangdi River and go through subtropical forests, rocky trails and suspension bridge. Through out the trek we will pass through Chamje, which quiet famous for its waterfalls. Then we will ascend gradually to Tal, which is the first village of the Manang district set on broad river plain. Then we will continue our trek to Dharepani, and will stay overnight in Dharepani.

Day 05 :
Dharepani to Chame (2,670m/8,760). Distance: 15–17 km, Duration: 5–6 hrs

On the fifth day of the trek, we’ll start from Dharepani, passing through beautiful pine and fir forests, and the villages of Bagarchhap and Danaque. We will also encounter some waterfalls and stunning rock cliffs on our way.  We’ll begin seeing majestic peaks like Lamjung Himal and Annapurna II as we reach the beautiful town Chame, the capital of the Manang District. We will spend our night in Chame and preapare for the following day.

Day 06 :
Chame to Pisang (3,300m/10,826ft). Distance: 13–14 km, Duration: 5–6 hrs

After a wonderful night in Chame, we’ll begin our journey with an early trek through narrow valleys and dramatic rock cliffs such as Paungda Danda. We’ll follow the river upstream and cross multiple suspension bridges before arriving at the open valley of Pisang, which will offer us an  incredible views of Annapurna II and IV. We’ll end the day five in Pisang with a delicious dinner and a well earned night of rest.

Day 07 :
Pisang to Ngawal (3,660m) to Manang (3,540m/11,613ft). Distance: 17–18 km, Duration: 6–7 hrs

Today we’ll start our trek from Pisang to Ngawal. We will go through Ghyaru, a traditional Gurung Village, where ancient stone houses cling to hillside. On our way we will experience the panoramic views of the Annapurna Range. After walking for five to six hours, we will finally reach Ngawal, which is widely known for its serene monasteries and wide mountain vistas. Once we reach to Ngawal we will explore around the village and will stay overnight in Ngawal.

Day 08 :
Ngawal to Manang (3,540m). Distance: 8–9 km, Duration: 4–5 hrs

After spending a night in Ngawal, we will begin our journey to Manang just after a delicious breakfast. The trek will be  short as we will be walking only for four to five hours. Trekking along the trail, we will pass through fields and mani walls. Also, we will pass through Braka, home to a 500 years old monastery. Once we reach Manang we will enjoy the view of Gangapurna Glacier and the turquoise Gangapurna Lake the following day. We will stay overnight in Manang.

Day 09 :
Acclimatization Day in Manang. Distance: 3–5 km (optional hikes), Duration: 2–4 hrs

Today will be our rest day to be both physically and mentally fit for upcoming journey. We’ll explore the village and go for a short hike to Gangapurna Lake, Chongkar Viewpoint, or even Ice Lake for the adventure. We’ll also visit the Himalayan Rescue Association Clinic for a quick altitude safety briefing.

Day 10 :
Manang to Tilicho Base Camp (4,150m/ 13,615ft). Distance: 15–17 km, Duration: 6–7 hrs

The day ten starts with the trek from Manang to Tilicho Base Camp. On our way to Tilicho Base Camp, we’ll pass through Khangsar Village and traverse a narrow path with landslide prone sections. Once we reach to Tilicho Base Camp we will experience the best view of sunset. After a long day, we’ll finally take a poper rest in a teahouse and prepare ourselves for the journey ahead.

Day 11 :
Hike to Tilicho Lake (4,920m/ 16,141ft) & Return to Base Camp. Distance: 10–12 km, Duration: 5–6 hrs

On our eleventh day, we will begin our trek early in the morning and ascend to the mesmerizing Tilicho Lake, one of the world’s highest alpine lakes. Once we reach there, we’ll be able to witness the snow-capped peaks and blue skies. After soaking in the view and capturing some pictures we will return back to Base Camp.

Day 12 :
Tilicho Base Camp to Yak Kharka (4,050m/13,286ft). Distance: 10–12 km, Duration: 5–6 hrs

On the twelfth day of our journey, we will bid  goodbye to Tilicho Base Camp and retrace our steps back toward Khangsar and then follow a different route toward Yak Kharka. After walking for several hours, we will finally reach Yak Kharka. We will be able to experience a peaceful grazing areas and stunning mountain views once we reach Yak Kharka. We will stay overnight in Yak Kharka.

Day 13 :
Yak Kharka to Chulu West Base Camp (4,560m/14,960ft). Distance: 8–10 km, Duration: 4–5 hrs

On today’s trek we will move towards Chulu West Base Camp from Yak Kharka. We will now move to north into the wilderness and experience splendid views on our way to Chulo west Base Camp. Once we reach the Chulu Base Camp, we’ll be able to witness the serene scenery of Annapurna Range. We will set up a tent and spend our night in the base camp.

Day 14 :
Base camp to High Camp (5,200m). Distance: 5–6 km, Duration: 4–5 hrs

Today we will get one step closer to the summit. We will trek steeply uphill to High Camp over rocky ridgelines with increasing exposure to wind and cold. As we reach closer to High camp we will be witnessing the clear views of Manaslu, Dhaulagiri, and the Annapurna Massif. We will spend our night in the High Camp and prepare for the summit.

Day 15 :
Summit Chulu West (6,419m) and Return to Base Camp. 10–12 km, Duration: 8–10 hrs

Today is the day when we will finally summit Chulu West. We’ll begin our journey early in the morning and walk through the steep snow slopes and technical ridges. Once we summit the Chulu west we’ll be rewarded with panoramic views of the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, and Tibet border ranges. After soaking in the views of Chulu West we will carefully return back to Base Camp.

Day 16 :
Base Camp to Thorong Phedi (4,525m). Distance: 10–12 km, Duration: 5–6 hrs

On our sixteenth day, we’ll finally say  good bye to Chulu West as we descend back to Throng La Phedi. We will once again reconnect with the Annapurna trail, and pass high cliffs and barren landscapes as the vegetation thins. Phedi is the base for the next day’s hike pass and has basic lodges and warm meals. We’ll stay here in a teahhouse and prepare for the tomorrow’s challenging trek.

Day 17 :
Cross Thorong La Pass (5,416m) and Trek to Muktinath (3,760m). Distance: 15–16 km, Duration: 7–9 hrs

The day seventeen of our journey will be a bit challenging as we pass through the world’s highest trekking pass, Thorong La Pass. The trial is steep and snowy but well-marked with prayer flags. From the top, we’ll see an amazing stretch of Himalayan peaks. Then we will now descend to Muktinath, a reversed temple site for both hindus and Buddhists, known for its 108 water spouts and eternal flame. We will spend our night in Muktinath.

Day 18 :
Drive from Muktinath to Tatopani (1,190m). Distance: approx. 140 km by road, Duration: 5–6 hrs

The day eighteen of our trek starts with an early breakfast and then we will take a scenic drive through Kagbeni Jomsom and Marpha toward Tatopani. After driving for five to six hours we will finally reach Tatopani. We’ll be taking a shower in the natural hot water spring and stay overnight in Tatopani.

Day 19 :
Day 19: Tatopani to Ghorepani (2,860). Distance: 15–16 km, Duration: 6–7 hrs.

After spending the night in Tatopani, the next day we will climb steadily through Shikha and Chitre, passing terraced hills, lush rhododendron forests, and traditional Magar Villages. Eventually, we’ll reach Ghorepani, a colorful settlement offering views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna south and is the base of tomorrow’s sunrise hike.

Day 20 :
Poon Hill Sunrise Hike (3,210m) and Trek to Ghandruk (1,940m). Distance: 10–12 km, Duration: 5–6 hrs

Today we will start our hike early morning to Poon Hill, one of Nepal’s most popular viewpoints. Once we reach Poon Hill, we will be able to witness the golden sunrise over Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Annapurna I, Hiunchuli, and Machapuchare. After spending sometimes, we will again trek down through blooming rhododendron forests to Tadapani, then onward to Ghandruk, a charming Gurung village with cultural museums and Himalayan backedrops.

Day 21 :
Ghandruk to Pothana (1,990m). Distance: 8–10 km, Duration: 3–4 hrs

Today we will descend to Landruk and continue through forests and farmlands to Pothana, a peaceful resting point with views of Machapuchare and Annapurna South. This will be a short walk of around three to four hours and also a final night in a teahouse as we’ll return back to Pokhara the following day.

Day 22 :
Pothana to Phedi and Drive to Pokhara (820m). Distance: 5–6 km trek + 1-hr drive, Duration: 2–3 hrs trek + 1 hr drive

We will start our day  with a trek from Pothana, we’ll pass through Dhampus Village, Known for its Cultural richness and stone paved lanes. And after walking for another four to five kilometers. We will finally reach Phedi. After that we’ll take a short drive to Pokhara, where we can relax by Phewa Lake or visit the World Peace Pagoda.

Day 23 :
Drive to Kathmandu. Distance: approx. 200 km by road, Duration: 6–7 hrs

On the twenty third day of our journey, we will bid  goodbye to Pokhara as we are heading back to Kathmandu. We will drive back to Kathmandu which will take around six to seven hours. Once you arrive in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your accommodation where you’ll have enough time to relax and rest.

Day 24 :
Reserve Day

 We are almost at the end of our journey, we have kept an extra day in our itinerary just in case of any delays. In case we encounter any unforeseen circumstances on the way that require us to stay an additional day, we can use this extra day. You can use this extra day   at any time and if we complete our trek without the need of an extra day then, you can spend an extra day at Kathmandu.
 

Day 25 :
Final Departure

On the final day of our trek, we will bid you farewell and arrange your transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport. Please make sure your luggage is packed and that you haven’t left anything behind. We will ensure you reach the airport on time. With this, we conclude our 25 days trek to Chulu West Peak.
