Day 1 :
Arrival in Kathmandu – Transfer to Chitwan

Arrive at Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport, where you will be greeted by a Wonder Himalaya representative. You will then be transferred to your hotel for a brief rest. Afterward, enjoy a scenic drive or flight to Chitwan National Park. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge, where you will enjoy a relaxing lunch. In the evening, immerse yourself in the local culture with a Tharu cultural performance, featuring traditional music and dance. This will give you a glimpse into the rich traditions of the region.

Day 2 :
Nature Walk, Canoe Ride, and Jeep Safari

On your second day, start early with a nature walk through the park with a naturalist guide. This walk will give you a chance to explore the park’s diverse flora and fauna up close. In the afternoon, enjoy a thrilling jeep safari through the park, searching for iconic wildlife such as rhinos, sloth bears, and perhaps even the elusive Bengal tiger.

Day 3 :
Elephant Safari and Elephant Breeding Center

Day 4 :
Birdwatching and Return to Kathmandu

Day four is dedicated to an exciting full-day elephant-back safari. You’ll travel deep into the park’s wilderness, riding atop an elephant to spot the park’s iconic wildlife, including one-horned rhinos, tigers, and a range of bird species. In the afternoon, you’ll visit the Elephant Breeding Center to learn about conservation efforts and how the elephants are cared for. In the evening, relax at the lodge and enjoy the surroundings.
