Travel Insurance

Whenever you think about trekking in Nepal, you must consider getting a travel insurance. Although the insurance is not mandatory in many destinations, but if you are going to the restricted or protected area, you must compulsorily have a travel insurance as per the Department of Immigration (https://immigration.gov.np/en/post/trekking-permit). We would highly recommend everyone to get a travel insurance even if its not mandatory. A trek to Himalayas is challenging, even the easiest trail is risky, so to be on a safe side we must get a travel insurance.

A Travel Insurance must cover the following things:

When you’re traveling, especially to remote or mountainous areas, travel insurance isn’t optional—it’s essential. A reliable policy should protect you in situations that are unpredictable and sometimes life-threatening
