Itinerary

Day 01 :
Drive From Kathmandu to Besisahar and Continue to Dharapani (1,960m/ 6,430ft).

We will officially begin our journey to Annapurna Circuit Trek from today. We will start early with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar. After driving for approximately six hours, we’ll finally reach Besisahar. Now, we will once again drive for next four to five hours and finally make it to Dharapani. We will spend our night here and prepare for tomorrow as we will begin our actual trek from the following day.

Day 02 :
Dharapani to Chame (2,6670m).

On the second day of the trek, we’ll start from Dharepani passing through beautiful pine and fir forest and the villages of Bagarchhap and Danaque. We will also encounter some waterfalls and stunning rock cliffs on our way.  We’ll witness majestic peaks like Lamjung Himal and Annapurna II as we reach the beautiful town Chame, the capital of the Manang District. We will spend our night in Chame and preapare for the following day.

Day 03 :
Chame to Pisang (3,300m/10,826ft).

Day three of our journey begins with an early trek through narrow valleys and dramatic rock cliffs such as Paungda Danda. We’ll follow the river upstream and cross multiple suspension bridges before arriving at the open valley of Pisang. Soon after walking for at least five hours, we’ll finally reach Pisang. Pisang will welcome us by offering us an incredible view of Annapurna II and IV.
With this we conclude our day five, as we will be staying overnight in Pisang.

Day 04 :
Pisang to Ngawal (3,660m) to Manang (3,540m/11,613ft).

Our day four starts with an early trek from Pisang. We’ll be taking the high trail through Ngawal, this route is more scenic and better for acclimatization. After resting for some time, we will move ahead toward Manang, passing through Buddhist Shrines, Prayer wheels, and traditional stone house. At the end of the day six we will stay overnight in Manag and will take a proper rest.

Day 05 :
Acclimatization Day in Manang.

Today will be our rest day to be both physically and mentally fit for upcoming journey. We’ll explore the village and go for a short hike to Gangapurna Lake, Chongkar Viewpoint, or even Ice Lake for the adventure. We’ll also visit the Himalayan Rescue Association Clinic for a quick altitude safety briefing.

Day 06 :
Manang to Ledar (4,200m/ 13,780ft).

Today we will start our trek from Manang and ascends toward Ledar through the alpine zone of the Annapurna Circuit. The trail climbs steadily through dry, windswept terrain with fewer trees and more rugged mountain scenery. Along the way, we’ll pass through villages like Tengi and Gunsang. Continuing our walk, we will eventually reach Ladar, a smaller settlement perched on a hillside with stunning views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. We will stay overnight in Ledar.

Day 07 :
Ledar to High Camp (4,900m/ 16076ft).

Day seven might be a bit challenging, as today we’ll make our way to high camp. Throughout the journey, as we climb higher, the terrain becomes more rockier and the air thinner. So, it is necessary to remain hydrated. The path may be difficult, but we must understand that every step we take will bring us closer to the heart of the Himalayas. Once we reach High Camp, we will be able to see the spectacular views of the pass and the surrounding peaks like Ganguly Himal, Thorong Peak, Yakawa Kang, Khatung Kang and Chulu West and Chulu East.

Day 08 :
Cross Thorong La Pass (5,416m) and Trek to Muktinath (3,760m).

The day eight of our journey will be a bit challenging, as we pass through the world’s highest trekking pass, Thorong La Pass. We will raise early to cross the Throng La Pass and to avoid the strong wind and snow melting. Once we reach to Thorong La Pass, we will be able to witness the breathtaking views of Dhaulagiri Range, Mulkot Himal and Yakwakang and Khatung Peaks. After soaking in the view, we’ll now head towards Mukti Nath, a reversed temple site for both hindus and Buddhists, known for its 108 water spouts and eternal flame. We will spend our night in Muktinath.

Day 09 :
Muktinath to Jomsom (2,720m).

After spending a night in Muktinath, we’ll now descent through Jharkot, a picturesque village with a large monastery and traditional Mustang architecture. Also, we’ll pass through Kagbeni, an ancient village with rich Tibetan culture and Medieval architecture. We’ll continue our trek along the windy Kali Gandaki valley through Ekle Bhatti and finally arrive in Jomson. We will stay overnight in Jomson at the teahouse.

Day 10 :
Exploration Day in Jomson

After trekking for several days, we’ll now finally take a leave from trekking in Jomsom for a day. We will take a proper rest and make sure we are both physically and mentally fit. During the day time, we’ll explore nearby sights such as the Kali Gandaki Gorge, Local villages, and Mustang Eco Museum.

Day 11 :
Jomsom to Tatopani (1,200m).

Today we’ll drive to Tatopani from Jomsom. The trip to Tatopani might take around six to eight hours from Jomsom depending on the road condition. The route descends through lush forests and terraced fields. Once we reach Tatopani, we will soak in the natural hot spring and make ourselves relax. And tonight, we will be staying in Tatopani.

Day 12 :
Tatopani to Pokhara (820m).

Today our day starts with an early road journey to Pokhara. We will drive for at least seven to eight hours. Along the journey we will pass through cities like Beni and Baglung and finally make our way to Pokhara. Once we arrive in Pokhara, depending on your physical fitness we can either take a rest or visit the lake side and other famous places in Pokhara. At the end of the day, you will prepare your luggage as we are heading back to Kathmandu the following day.

Day 13 :
Return Back to Kathmandu.

Today is the day we bid farewell to the city of lakes, Pokhara. With the motive of returning back once again we leave Pokhara back and drive towards Kathmandu. Once we arrive at Kathmandu, you’ll be transferred to your accommodation where you can take a most needed and deserving rest.
