Itinerary

Day 01 :
Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (822 m/ 2,697 ft).

The first day of our journey starts with an early morning drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara. It will take around 6 to 7 hours to reach Pokhara. Upon the arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel and enjoy a peaceful walk by Phewa Lake. Also, don’t forget to get enough rest as we will begin our trek from the following day.

Day 02 :
Drive From Pokhara to Ghandruk (1,940 m/ 6,365 ft).

We’ll start our day with a delicious breakfast in Pokhara, then we’ll begin our journey toward Ghandruk, a Gurung village. We’ll take a sharing jeep from Pokhara and will drive for at least three to four hours and will finally make it to Ghandruk. We’ll explore Ghandruk and its culture and will stay overnight.

Day 03 :
Trek from Ghandruk to Chhomrong (2,170m).

After spending our night in Ghandruk, today we will leave early for Chhomrong. We will begin the trek with a gradual climb along terraced fields and forest trails and eventually we will descend to a river crossing. We will continue our hike uphill and will finally make it to Chhomrong, which is the last permanent settlement on the route to Annapurna Base Camp. After reaching Chhomrong, we will be blessed with the mesmerizing views of Macchapuchhre and Annapurna South. We will stay here in Chhomrong for tonight.

Day 04 :
Trek from Chhomrong to Deurali (3,230m).

Today we will begin our trek along the trail descending to Chhomrong Khola. After Chhomrong Khola, we’ll cross a suspension bridge and climb to Sinuwa (2,340m). From here, we will continue our trek through lush bamboo and rhododendron forests and pass through Bamboo (2,310m), and Dhovan, two small villages along the way. Then we will continue our trek towards Himalayan Hotel (2,920m) and Hinku cave. After walking for 30 more minutes, we will finally place our steps on Deurali. We will stop at Deurali for tonight.

Day 05 :
Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m) via Macchapuchhre Base Camp (3,700m).

Today is finally the day you will make your way to Annapurna Base Camp. With a lot of excitement, we will begin our journey from Deurali, climbing upwards through alpine meadows to Machhapuchhre Base Camp, where we will be able to witness the stunning views of Machhapuchhre, Gangapurna, and Annapurna III. Continuing our trek for next two hours, we will finally make it to Annapurna Base Camp. Annapurna Base Camp is surrounded by towering peaks including Annapurna I (8,091m). we will stay in a teahouse and enjoy the unforgettable scene of sunset over the mountains.

Day 06 :
Trek from Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo (2,360m).

After spending a whole night in Annapurna Base Camp, today we’ll leave it behind and return back. We will wake up early in the morning to witness the beautiful view of sunrise and after soaking in the beauty of the Himalayas, we’ll now carefully return back to Bamboo passing through Machhapuchhre Base Camp, Deurali, Himalayan Hotel and Dovan. For the day six, we’ll be staying overnight in Bamboo.

Day 07 :
Trek from Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1,400 m / 4,593 ft).

Our day seven kicks with an early breakfast in Bamboo, after which will begin our trek to Jhinu Danda, passing through Sinuwa and Chhomrong. After reaching Chhomrong, we will descend steeply for next one and half hour and finally make it to Jhinu Danda. After refreshing ourselves in Jhinu Danda, we will walk down short distance to the natural hot spring by the Modi Khola for a relaxing soak. Tonight, we will stay in Jhinu Danda.

Day 08 :
Trek to Nayapul (1,070 m / 3,510 ft) and Drive Pokhara (822 m / 2,697 ft).

The final day of actual trekking is today. Today we will have our     breakfast in Jhinu Danda and then we will move a head towards Pokhara. We will trek down to Nayapul or Siwai from where we will be able to access our vehicle. Then we will drive back to Pokhara, while enjoying the view of rivers and hills. Soon we’ll reach Pokhara and you can explore around for the rest of the day.

Day 09 :
Drive Back to Kathmandu (1400 m/ 4593 ft).

Today we will bid good bye to Pokhara and will drive back to Kathmandu. Once you reach Kathmandu, we’ll transfer you to your accommodation. You can then take a proper rest as we just completed the challenging journey.
