Pisang Summit Climbing (6,091 m/19,983 ft) offers you the best mountaineering experiences of Pisang Peak, erected between two eight-thousanders, Annapurna I (8,091 m/26,545 ft) and Mt. Manaslu (8,163 m/26,781 ft). In addition, you cross via Thorang La Pass—the highest pass—and astonishing pristine mountain views of the world’s highest peaks: Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Annapurna IV, Manaslu, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Macchapuchhre, and other peaks. Also, you trek to Muktinath—the sacred temple with 108 natural water taps—and Kali Gandaki Gorge—the world’s deepest gorge. 

During your journey, you witness a beautiful and diverse landscape, changes in terrain, lush green forests, arid rocky trails, the purest rivers, and sacred mountains. Day 01 :
Arrival Day and Trek Briefing in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,265ft.)

When you land at the Tribhuvan International Airport, you will meet our representative. He/she will greet you and drive you to our luxury, authentic Nepali restaurant and assist you to check in at Thamel. So, please keep your eyes on someone holding a placard with your name or our company’s name—Wonder Himalaya.

In the evening, we arrange a short introduction meeting. You will meet your guide, and our trekking expert will provide you with all the detailed information about the trek.

We offer you a welcome dinner, and you simply take a rest at the restaurant. Overnight, you stay at our restaurant and restore your energy to accomplish your upcoming adventurous trip to Pisang Peak Climbing.

Day 02 :
Reserve day in kathmandu

Today, you are going to enjoy the Kathmandu Valley Tour—the city full of World Heritage Sites, Nepali culture, and many more to explore.

Early morning, we offer you a warm breakfast, and your sightseeing starts with our city guide. At first, you visit Pashupatinath Temple—the holiest Hindu temple on the bank of the sacred Bagmati River—and then move to Boudhanath Stupa—the biggest Buddhist stupa architecture in the world. After that, we drive you to Patan Durbar Square. In addition, we take you to Swayambhunath Stupa—the 2000-year-old legendary stupa on the hilltop also nicknamed the Monkey Temple. Finally, we come to Kathmandu Durbar Square; observe Kumari Temple (living goddess temple), Nautale Durbar, the Kaal Bhairav, the Swet Bhairav, the freak streets, and more.

Your exciting city tour finishes in the evening. You take a delicious dinner and take a rest, collecting energy for the upcoming adventure.

Day 03 :
Kathmandu (1,300m/4,265ft) - Jagat (1,300m/4,265ft) – Dharapani (1,860m/6,102ft)

After taking a warm breakfast, we drive you to Besisahar (Lamjung) in a private jeep/van, passing through Thankot, Dhading, and Gorkha. It’s a comfortable journey. When we reach Besisahar, further, we start traveling on the bumpy, dusty, and rural roads to our destination, Jagat.

This drive is thrilling, but it is also exciting that you can witness rural lifestyle, green rolling hills at the backdrop, rolling rivers, dazzling snow-capped mountains, terraced farmland, and a pristine environment. After a 5-6 hour long but scenic drive, we reach Jagat.

From Jagat, we start trekking. We trek through dense forest and along the rolling Marsyangdi River. We cross many suspension bridges over the Marsyangdi River, pass through the dense forest, and climb the rocky trail to reach Tal village. From Tal village, we ascend towards Dharapani village, enjoying outstanding views of waterfalls, ridges, cliffs, and greenish landscape on the trail.

Finally, we reach Dharapani and stay here overnight.

Day 04 :
Dharapani (1,860m/6,102ft) - Chame (2,670m/8,760ft)

We take a delicate breakfast early in the morning and start trekking to Chame—the headquarters of Manang district.

Moving towards Chame, we ascend uphill through dense forest, tributaries, gorges, and steep stone staircases, tracing the villages of Bagarchap, Danakyu, and Koto. Enjoy the fascinating surroundings, the Tibetan Buddhist lifestyle, culture, and tradition, and panoramic views of snow-covered mountains such as Lamjung Himal, Annapurna, Manaslu, and a few other peaks.

A 5-6 hour trek from Dharapani takes us to Chame.

Overnight, we stay and take a rest at Chame.

Day 05 :
Chame (2,670m/8,760ft) – Upper Pisang (3,300m/10,826ft)

On this day, we start trekking from Chame to Pisang, passing through Bhratang, Dhukur Pokhari, and lower Pisang.

From Chame, our trails trace uphill, passing through rhododendron, alpine, and oak forests. You enjoy the spectacular view of snow-capped mountains rising from the Marsyandi River. Ahead, we reach Bhratang, an apple orchard village. We can taste fresh apples or apple pies here.

Again, we resume our journey following the trail carved into the sides of the cliffs, walking along the riverbank, and crossing suspension bridges. Finally, we reach Dhukur Pokhari, from where you can enjoy the jaw-dropping views of Annapurna II, III, and IV.

Further, we continue our trek, cross the suspension bridge, pass grassy meadows, and reach Pisang.

Overnight, we take a shelter at Pisang and take a rest

Day 06 :
Acclimatize at Upper Pisang (3,700m/12,136ft)

This day, we rest and acclimatize at Upper Pisang. From Upper Pisang, you enjoy the spectacular views of Annapurna II, III, and IV, Gangapurna, and Tilicho Lake.

Also, we check and set up our climbing gear—ropes, axes, ladders, and crampons.

Overnight, we stay here at Upper Pisang.

Day 07 :
Upper Pisang (3,700m/12,136ft) – Pisang Base Camp (4,380m/ 14,365ft)

On this day, we trek to Pisang Base Camp. We pass through pastures, then follow the rough and steeply rocky trails through sparse forests and reach Pisang Base Camp.

No worries! Our guides and helpers set up a tent and prepare food. We enjoy the panorama of the tantalizing Annapurna Range, glaciers, and serene scenery. Overnight, we stay here at Pisang Base Camp.

Day 08 :
Pisang Base Camp (4,380m/ 14,365ft) – Pisnag High Camp (5,400m/ 17,712ft)

On this day, our trek is more challenging and difficult as we are moving to higher altitudes. From Base Camp, we trek over slippery, rocky trails and reach High Camp. You can enjoy spectacular views of the high mountains, glaciers, and landscapes.

At High Camp, we set up a tent and stay overnight.

Day 09 :
Pisang High Camp (5,400m/ 17,712ft) – Pisang Summit (6,091m/ 19,983ft) – Pisang Base Camp (4,380m/ 14,365ft)

This is the most awaited moment throughout our expedition. After an early breakfast, our expedition to Pisang Peak starts. This offers you the pristine views of Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Lamjung Himal, Gangaupurna, Dhaulagiri Himal, Tilicho Himal, Annapurna III, Annapurna IV, Mt. Manaslu, and other peaks.

Climbing the steep snow ridge makes the expedition riskier, so you should follow the guide’s instructions and guidelines and use gear cautiously. We need ropes, axes, ladders, and crampons to go to the summit.

After enjoying ourselves fully on the top of Pisang Peak, we drop back to Base Camp. Overnight, we stay at Pisang Base Camp.

Day 10 :
Pisang Base Camp (4,380m/ 14,365ft) – Manang (3 540m/11 613ft)

Leaving Pisang Base Camp, we follow the trails down to Lower Pisang. Along the trail, enjoy the finest scenery of the trek. You reach Ghyaru—a fascinating cluster village with beautifully constructed stone houses surrounded by fields of wheat, barley, buckwheat, potatoes, and beans. Trekking along with a high cross with great scenery, up and down the valley, we reach Ngawal.

From Ngawal, we walk alongside Lophelling Monastery and Shey Monastery above Ngawal and reach the Julu junction. We take the right turn and walk further to Braga village. After taking lunch at Braga, we trek on the cliff through the upstream of the Marsyandi River to Manang. This village is the most advanced and one of the largest villages in this region

Overnight, we stay here at Manang and relax.

Day 11 :
Manang (3 540m/11 613ft) – Yak Kharka (4,050m/ 13,286ft)

On this day, from Manang, weace our steps back to Khangsar Khola and reach Shri Kharka. The route then continues from Khangsar to the northwest to a viewpoint. We can see the enthralling Annapurna Range, Tilicho Peak, Gangapurna, and other peaks. We hike the steep trail from the viewpoint, cross the suspension bridge across Thorung Khola, and reach Yak Kharka.

Overnight, we stay here at Yak Kharka.

Day 12 :
Yak Kharka (4,050m/ 13,286ft) – Thorang La Phedi (4,525m/ 14,845ft)

Enjoying an early warm breakfast, we follow the trails to Thorang La Pass—the highest pass in the Annapurna Circuit Trail. The track returns to Ledar from Base Camp, then ascends steeply along the Marsyangdi River, crossing multiple streams and narrow paths before descending to Thorang La Phedi.

Overnight, we stay here at Thorang La Phedi.

Day 13 :
Thorang La Phedi (4,525m/14,960ft) – Muktinath (3,760m/ 12,335ft)

On this day, we pass through Thorang La Pass—the highest, most challenging, and most adventurous pass on the Annapurna Circuit. From Thorang La Phedi, we climb steeply and reach the top of Thorung High Camp. After walking for a few hours and crossing bridges, we reach the top of the Thoruang La Pass. From here, you enjoy the wonderful Annapurna Range, Kali Gandaki Gorge, pristine scenery, and snow-covered mountains in the distance.

Spending some time at the Thorang La Pass, we descend towards Muktinath—one of the sacred Hindu-Buddhist temples.

Overnight, we shelter at Muktinath.

Day 14 :
Drive from Muktinath (3,760m/12,335ft) – Tatopani (1,190m/ 3,905ft)

Taking a delightful breakfast, we leave Muktinath for Tatopani. We hire a jeep and drive you from Muktinath to Tatopani through a dry, dusty, and rustic road. After one and a half hours, we drive through the trading route of Kagbeni—a medieval village with closely packed mud houses, dark tunnels, and alleys. Then we reach Jomsom. Enjoy something extraordinarily adventurous in the arid landscape of Mustang.

On our way to Tatopani, we also pass through Marpha—the famous apple orchard village and local alcohol made of apples. You feel overwhelmed with the blooming flowers or trees full of apples in the village.

Driving further, we reach Tatopani—the famous village of the natural hot springs. We spend a wonderful time taking a hot shower in the natural hot spring.

Overnight, we stay here at Tatopani.

Day 15 :
Tatopani (1,190m/3,905ft) - Ghorepani (2 860m/9,382ft)

After an early breakfast, we resume our trek from Tatopani to Ghorepani. We walk along the motor road and drop down towards the Kali Gandaki River. We cross one of the longest suspension bridges over Kali Gandaki and pass through dense forest, then the villages such as Ghara, Shikha, Phalate, and Chitre.

Finally, we reach Ghorepani and spend a night here.

Day 16 :
Ghorepani (2,860m/9,382ft) – Ghandruk (1,940m/ 6,364ft)

From Ghorepani, we resume our journey and climb towards Tadapani, walking along the ridges and passing through forests. After a 5-6 hour trek, we reach Tadapani. We take lunch at Tadapani.

From Tadapani, we resume our trek to Ghandruk—a Gurung village that is also enlisted under UNESCO as a world heritage village. We cross dense forests, cross streams, and cross a wooden bridge while descending to Ghandruk.

At Ghandruk, you can explore the Gurung Museum of the village. Further, you can have appealing scenes of the towering peaks and Massif Mountains such as Annapurna III (7,755 m/25,443 ft), Hiunchuli (6,441 m/21,132 ft), Machhapuchre (6,993 m/22,943 ft), and Gangapurna (7,455 m/24,458 ft).

Overnight, we stay at Ghandruk and revel in the local Gurung culture, lifestyle, tradition, and cultural live songs with dances.

Day 17 :
Ghandruk (1,940m/6,364ft) – Pothana (1990m/6,530ft)

From Ghandruk, the trail ascends to Kimbu, situated on the bank of Modi Khola. Following the Modi Khola for a few minutes, we reach Landruk, climbing the stone staircases. Going up further, we reach Tolka village, then the ridge of Deurali. From Deurali, enjoy the stunning scenes of Pokhara city and Phewa Lake. Also, you can see glittering sights of the Annapurna range, Machhapuchhre, Hiunchuli, and Dhaulagiri.

Finally, descending from Deurali, we reach Pothana. We spend the night here.

Day 18 :
Pothana (1,990m/6,530ft) – Phedi (1,130m/3,707ft) - Pokhara (820m/ 2,690ft)

Today, your journey is going to be easier and more comfortable from Pothana to Phedi. At first, we slope down from Pothana for an hour, then stroll along the gravel road for a couple of hours. Ultimately, we come down at Dhampus Phedi. Then, we drive you back to Pokhara from Phedi.

Overnight, we celebrate our triumph in Pokhara. You have completed your Pisang West Peak climbing. So, feel relaxed, take a rest, and enjoy your time in Pokhara.

Day 19 :
Pokhara (820m/2,690ft) to Kathmandu (1,300m/4,265ft)

Early in the morning, we take a warm breakfast in Pokhara. Then, we drive back to Kathmandu in a luxury tourist bus. On the way, you enjoy the scenic pastoral landscapes, terrace farming, green rolling hills, fast-flowing rivers, and rows of settlements on both sides of the road.

After 6-7 hours of a comfortable journey, we reach Kathmandu and transfer you to the restaurant. You can take a rest or explore the streets and markets in Kathmandu. Even you can enjoy various foods at different restaurants in Thamel—the No. 1 tourist city in Nepal.

Day 20 :
Extra Day

We have included an extra reserve day in our itinerary. We can use this day anywhere during the trek. The reserve day offers us the flexibility to adjust our schedule in case of unexpected delays due to the weather or slower trekking pace or even because of some minor health issues. In case, we completed our trek on time without using the extra day, then we can spend one more day in Kathmandu, enjoying its attraction spots like Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, Boudhanath, and Kathmandu Durbar Square.

Day 21 :
Farewell/Departure Day:

On this final day, offering you a delicate breakfast, we transfer to the Tribhuvan International Airport via our private transportation. We bid a happy ‘Goodbye’ to you and wish you a safe flight.
